Our journey began 13 years ago — officially launching 10 years ago with a clear mission: to create safer, healthier, and more responsible nail products. We introduced one of the first vegan, HEMA-free, and eco-friendly nail gels on the market — at a time when few understood or appreciated why this mattered.

Many laughed at us & bullied our vision back then. It was easier for people to focus on the final look than to question what was actually going onto the nail bed to achieve it. But as a nail artist myself with over 25 years of experience — and someone who stands proudly on the shop floor, face-to-face with clients — I knew that offering safer, cleaner formulas was non-negotiable.

Over the years, we’ve heavily invested in research and development, continuously innovating while staying true to our values. Our in-house laboratory team works tirelessly to ensure our formulas remain globally compliant and high-performing — without compromising on health or ethics.

About the Upcoming EU Ban on TPO

The upcoming EU ban on TPO (Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide), which takes effect September 1, 2025, is part of the ongoing updates to the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. This ban prohibits the manufacturing and sale of cosmetic products containing TPO within the European Economic Area (EEA).

While TPO is not directly linked to health hazards, allergies, or product safety, the EU has chosen to ban it as a precautionary measure. It is now more important than ever to carefully check product ingredient lists to ensure compliance and safety.

Please be aware that ingredients like:

• Ethyl Trimethylbenzoyl Phenylphosphinate
• Trimethylbenzoyl Ditolylphosphine Oxide

…can be confused with TPO, so reading labels carefully is essential.

So, where do we stand?

Let us be clear:

✅ We do not require a transition period
✅ We are HEMA-free, TPO-free, and 100% vegan
✅ We are committed to full transparency — now and always

We also use TPO-L (ethyl (2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl) phenylphosphinate), which is a photoinitiator often misunderstood. While TPO-L is chemically different from TPO, it’s important to note that vegan TPO-L depends on the source and manufacturing method. We can proudly confirm that our TPO-L is 100% vegan, made from natural resources or materials found in nature, and free from animal-derived ingredients.
